Wild & Wonderful Christmas

This past weekend we packed up the truck and headed to Wild & Wonderful WV to visit my family to finally celebrate our Christmas together. It isn't odd that we wait until January, we've even waited as late as February before. Girlie LOVES going to Grammy K & Pappy K's house and she was so excited. Mom, Aunt Shelly, Girlie and I loaded up and headed out in the wee hours of Friday morning. We had a safe trip but it was way too short!

When we got there we got settled quickly, as we always do, and she helped Grammy K wash the dishes lol yes with her feet in the sink as noted on the 365 post.

My brother and his family arrived Friday night and boy do I enjoy spending time with them. PLEASE MOVE TO TN GUYS! :) I'M BEGGING! :) I have the best brother in the world and his wife and offspring, well they are just as quality! We ate way too much, laughed just as much and really really enjoyed each others company.

I love Garrett's facial expressions in this one. He was so excited to open this big box of stuff from Nana. He played with it endlessly the rest of the weekend.

We headed out early Sunday morning and had a safe trip home but it was way too short of a time to spend with those you don't get to see often enough. I think this year I'm making it a top goal of mine to see my family more. This once a year junk stinks!
