Stitch N' Giggles

I consider myself blessed beyond measure to have such wonderfully talented friends. April at Stitch N' Giggles is a sewing goddess!! She makes the most wonderful baby items and now I'm so glad to say I own another of her products... a purse/tote.

What's best about this is that I basically said "I want a bag" and then she sent me "A BAG!!!!" I love it in every way. But I'll show you exactly why!

The fabric, look at that awesome pattern!! And the design of the bag is awesome too!!

Blue jean for the bottom!! Talk about a genius way to upcycle/recycle! I love it!

But my favorite favorite feature... THE INSIDE POCKET!! Look at it!! (it's not the only one, there are two pockets on the other side in the interior fabric, but this pocket is my favorite!

I love the coordinating fabric inside too (but as you still see glimpse of that awesome jean pocket lol I do love it).

Great news is that all you have to do is visit Stitch N' Giggles site or become a fan on Facebook (ok, so now it's called "liking" a person but I hate it) so go now!! Get your own... share with me what you got.
You can't beat the quality and service!
Now I must grab my purse and leave for work... the very purse your looking at! :) Awesome!

Creative Minds

Tonight was a fun one! Girlie's school has an annual art show to help raise money for local charities and an art program at the school. This year they did things a little different and provided free childcare for the parents that wanted to attend.

They had food

wine

and chocolate!!!!

But the best thing on the menu was the artwork. Each child does one or two or even more pieces and they display them around the location and then it's an auction! It can become fun when parents try to go for the classroom pieces!

This is one that Girlie did with another student. We brought this one home!

This is one that all the girls' in Girlie's glass did together! LOVE IT! And we also brought this one home!

This is Girlie's and of course we brought it home.

This is one that the entire class did. We didn't bring it home. boo!
Someone bid on it and had a great reason so I didn't outbid, but I sure wanted too!

Overall every single piece of art was so wonderful and special.

This is us after we got home.

I love that her school does fun things like this. :) The next thing they have planned is a 5 year celebration. This marks the fifth year they've been in business!! I can't wait!

Uncles are fun!

Well, we are back and we had an amazing time with my brother and his family! It was a very busy vacation, not one that was relaxing at all, but lots of fun was had and lots of memories were made!

When I was growing up some of the best times and best memories I had are times I spent with my Uncle. He took us to the local swimming pool with him daily in the summer. He was a lifeguard there so we were there open to close everyday. Summers I spent at least a week with him once he moved away and got married. Those are still some of my favorite memories.

I'm glad to say that I think Girlie will also have fond memories of her Uncle. Her "Uncle Bubby", as she calls him, is always willing to play and act crazy and give her chocolate candy for breakfast!

The day we were leaving Uncle Bubby helped us load our car. On the way back to return the cart he and Girlie had a bit of a ride!

I didn't get many pictures because I didn't notice at first, but this is one that shows how he was pushing and spinning her around the parking lot! She was thrilled!

She wanted to keep doing it forever.
I'm almost positive this will be one of her fondest memories from the trip! I have tons more to share but these were some of my favorite pics from the trip.
I really wish my brother and family lived closer. That's my dream! Maybe someday!
Do you have fond memories with your Uncles?

One sad Momma

That up there is what all I yesterday!

I purchased all those items of clothing shown above!
Truth is I spent quite a bit of money. Next truth is I got amazing deals since the stuff was all on sale from the end of school. Another truth, it broke my heart! How can my girlie be big enough that I have to buy SCHOOL uniforms? Sure made for one sad momma! I'm still pouting today!

Best gift EVER!

Hello Lovelies!

I've been MIA for a bit. We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at the in laws. LOTS of pool time and just hanging out. I DID NOT want to come home. I felt like I was on vacation and I didn't want it to end. I have a few pictures and need to get them uploaded. I will share soon, I promise.

But onto something else! Tomorrow I turn 33 years young! Just another birthday, not a monumental one or anything. I always love birthdays though and I love that people are calling and sending cards and in the age of Facebook posting all those Birthday wishes!! It feels good to get so much special attention, doesn't it? We don't really have any plans. We have a wedding that day and then who knows what will come of the rest of the day.

The best thing is that yesterday I got an early birthday present! The title to my car. I couldn't be more excited. Now we finally have no car payment and I'm praying that lasts a while.

Here she is!!

We're off today to meet the in laws half way to pick up our girlie. She's been with them since we left on Monday. Apparently she's had a blast!!! Thanks to Facebook I've been able to experience it a little as my MIL has posted pictures of everything they've done. I'm CERTAIN she will not want to come home to rules and no chocolate for breakfast. I love that she wants to stay there and be with them. I love even more that they want her to be there. I can't wait to see her though. It's been the longest week ever! How can that be and it was really a day shorter than most? Crazy!

I hope everyone has a safe weekend. Next time I post, I'll be older hehe
