Bubbles

Girlie has finally learned how to blow a bubble. She's been trying forever and last night she finally GOT it. Then she kept blowing and blowing and blowing :)


I love that she gets these new tricks all the time. Tying her shoes and now this? How big is she?

Halloween Wear

I just have to show off what I made last night. My Mom has always loved these personalized shirts. My Brother and Sister-in-law started this tradition for Christmas YEARS ago (what like 12 now) and well I carried it over into Halloween.

Last night I made her this...



And I made this for Girlie to wear too!

I'm actually pretty pleased with how they turned out . I'm not very good at drawing so good ole computer clipart came in handy. I printed out the words I wanted to use in the font I liked and then used transfer paper to put it on the shirt. Them I just painted it with the fabric paint and Voila!

Pretty neat, huh?

Picture Day!

Girlie has picture day at school today. It's a holiday scene that they will take a pic with so we dressed holidayish! :)
She looked so adorable and I just had to share!!

She is just awesome! :) I love her so much!

3 x 100,000

Either I drive too much or I'm lucky with driving cars that hit 100,000. lol

Today my lovely Explorer hit the 100,000 mark on my way to my 2nd job. see...

The cool thing isn't just that either, it's that I was also driving James' car when it hit 100,000...

And I was driving my Mom's car when it hit 100,000...

Now... is it really silly that I have pictures of all three said 100,000 mile marks? Well, I was taking pictures for my 365 project the year that I was driving both James' and Mom's (2008) and so that meant I had to snap a picture this morning when mine did too!

James could care less that I was driving his but Mom isn't very happy about it, hehe. She said that it wasn't fair that this is the only car she's had that made it to 100,000, she usually trades them before then, and I was driving. Sorry Mom, but it sure made for a cool thing to document for myself!

Here's hoping all of ours makes it another 100,000!!!!

Snuggie for Breast Cancer

This week at work we've been having a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness, the ever so popular "Pink Week". We started off being able to pay $10 to wear jeans all week - SCORE! Then we had a bake off competition on Wednesday, that yours truly won! Then today we have PINK DAY! Where you dress in your pink and people vote for you by giving you money and the one with the most money wins! I'm certainly not going to win because one of the girls went out to some hospitals and raised money too. But, it was fun to dress up anyway.

So this morning... I wore the PINK SNUGGIE! :)

and a breast cancer coffee mug, headband and a pink bunnie too! FUN TIMES!!

We've raised a generous amount for American Cancer Society and it has been really fun. I'm sad we can't wear blue jeans next week! :)

Showering Trevor!

This weekend I had an awesome time with some friends I've made online.
Who knew that you could make such close friends online? Well, now I know! We got together on Saturday to shower our friend Dana who's having a baby boy next month. It was just a little mini-shower but no cuteness was spared. Shelby was gracious enough to host at her adorable home. We had the most wonderful food and talked for hours. Thanks again ladies for such a great time and Dana we can't wait until the next get together to meet Trevor!! Here are a few pics from the day.

New Trick

We had a fantastic weekend in Louisville at James' 20 Year High School Reunion. It was a blast and I met some amazing people too! However, today's blog post is more of a bragging nature :) Girlie has a new trick and I'm so thrilled.
She's growing up so fast I can hardly believe it!
