We had dinner at SOL Restaurant with friends. Oh it was great! Good food and good fun!
After dinner we headed back home for cake & gifts. I decorated just a bit to make it festive looking.
We ordered a plain white frosted cake from our local bakery and Girlie had fun decorating it with all sorts of yummy items!
Getting a taste of the icing - yum!
SPRINKLES!!!
THE END RESULT
We got her an MP3 player and Girlie painted her some suncatchers (which I have yet to take a pictures of - bad mommy!)
Mom loved her cake and didn't have a bit of trouble blowing out the candles... hehe
She enjoyed decorating the cake but enjoyed eating it much more!
On Saturday we rented a limo and went OUT ON THE TOWN! Girlie stayed with our dear friend (whom I thank a bunch - *VH* AE) and we had an adult night - WOOHOO!

Deborah & I - woa we're hot! lol

Our first stop was dinner at Chappy's . The food was great but the service was slow. I'd recommend going there, just don't be in any hurry to eat and go! Make that your only reservation! They gave your leftovers in foil shaped as a swan - so funny. Pat got hers and had to play with it. It made for a great topic of conversation!

Next was The Melting Pot for dessert! Gotta love chocolate fondue. We had the Original (chocolate with crunchy peanut butter - TO DIE FOR!) and the Flaming Turtle (chocolate with caramel and nuts - good but not as to die for as the original).
We were all finished by then, it was already 11:00 pm so we decided to call it a night. It was such a great time! I'm so glad that I like hanging out with my coworkers even on non-work hours.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! I hope it was a good one!
