Girlie does cartrolls

The title says it all, well sort of. Girlie calls cartwheels cartrolls, so that's what she's doing LOL
One of her friends showed her how to do a cartwheel at school last week and she won't stop doing them. She's getting pretty good.

She's such a goof too!

ENJOY!

Easter festivities begin

This weekend started the first of our Easter festivities! Girlie's preschool had a wonderful Easter Egg Hunt at Granny White Park in Brentwood, what a nice park!

She had a blast, as did all the other kiddos that were there.

Girlie and the Easter Bunny, aka Daddy. James was the bunny. She knew.

US! See my WV shirt? I made it that morning to bring the Mountaineers some luck, IT WORKED!!!!

Also, is James not the best Easter Bunny ever? He cracks me up!

The director counted them down and Syd took off! Look at the excitment on her face!

She had a ball with her friends.

She found TONS of eggs, including 2 prize eggs

Here she is showing one of those prize eggs off. It is the cutest egg shaped like a chick... adorable!

Semi-Homemade

Nothing like waiting until the last minute I always say! Tonight I decided VERY last minute to make these fora friend that just hada baby girl. I will be seeing her tomorrow and taking some pictures. If they turn out I might share a few! lol
Anyway, I remember when I got the perfect and most wonderful gift when Girlie was born. These wonderfully creative burp clothes. I thought I'd give myself a go at it a little and so this is what I came up with.

So Tweet!

Pink & Black

Chickie Chic

And my absolute favorite

These aren't great pictures of them because I didn't get out my good camera, but it gives you an idea. I've now decided that these were easy enough I will try and make them for all my friends having babies!!
We have an Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow for Girlie's school. She's way too excited!
HAPPY WEEKEND!

Time?

While uploading videos from my Flip camera the other night I noticed a video Girlie had made me the same night she made the one below.

Seems that someone is intersted in the upcoming holiday, Easter!

I love this video.

She's pretty excited for Easter. The egg hunt for her school is this Saturday and it is all she can talk about.

This is it

This morning started the process for Kindergarten registration for Girlie and our county. I'm pretty emotional about it. A great deal of my emotions come from the fact that my baby is no longer that, a baby :( But some of it is in relation to where she will go to school.

This morning I headed to both her zoned school and the school that we wish for her to go to in hopes of getting a special tranfer. I need her to be near my work so in the event something happens to her with her skin or eye issues I can be there in a matter of minutes, not closer to an hour. I'm not sure what the Board of Education will decide but I know that God has a plan and his will is of upmost importance. I know that whatever happens with the situation was meant to be. I can't say I won't be upset but I can say that I will have peace knowing that I did all I could do and prayed for what he wants for us as well.

It's so hard to believe that in a few short months my baby girl will be a Kindergartener. Some might think it's silly for me to get so emotional about it because she's already in a preschool program and is away from me during the day. Thing is, it's not just about being away from me, it is about her being grown. This is it... this is the beginning of the rest of our lives - her growing way too fast and me wanting it to slow down!

Send us positive vibes for getting in. I will drop off the paperwork today!

HAPPY SPRING!!

Happy Birthday Nannie!

This past weekend Nannie, as Girlie has named her, had a birthday. She was out of town, as were we, so we didn't get to celebrate until Monday evening.

Girlie requested a cake with pink flowers and one butterfly. Her wish, is my command :) Well and I knew Nannie would love it too! Mostly because whatever Girlie wants... Girlie gets!

Nannie with her cake! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!

Girlie made her two coffee cups. Here she is opening one of them.

I love her expresssion!

We also got her a digital frame for her office. She seemed to love it all!

Wishing you many more wonderful birthdays, Nannie. We adore you!
