It's the little things

that make me happy!

There are lots of big things in my life that make me really happy. My husband, my daughter, my mother, my family and friends! However, it doesn't take much to make me happy otherwise. Here's a list of the little things that do make me happy!

* Picking Girlie up from daycare and having her run screaming "MOMMY!" so excited to see me. (I plan on taking a pic for her 365 of this reaction. It's priceless)

* Finding a sweet note from James on the bathroom mirror in the mornings.

* Getting an unexpected email from a friend.

* Texting. I just <3 it! The best is a sweet text from James.

* Blog browsing. If you check to the right there you will see all the ones I frequent - OFTEN!

* A great song. I love singing to the top of my lungs in the car.

* Finishing a huge project. Be it work or play there is something about that accomplishment.

* Having dinner planned out and purchased for the week. Doesn't happen often but when it does... heaven!

* Finally finding the food I've been craving. Sometimes I just feel like I want something but can't figure it out. Once I find it I'm so relieved. lol

* Taking a decent picture. I take a million pictures and just having ONE come out and love it really is great.

* Finding a great bargain on something I've had my eye on.

* Making a favorite childhood dinner that I love and it tasting great!

* Cereal (sorry, I said it didn't take much to make me happy).

* Coming up with a really great gift for someone.

* Getting actual MAIL in the mail and not just bills.

* Reading to my girlie. I love that she loves books.

* A HUGE cup of Coke - Fountain Coke with Sonice ice to be exact :)

* Finding that Girlie wrote "I love you Mom Onna" on the bottom of her spelling test! <3

* HUGS!

* Phone calls from family and friends.

There are 1,000,000 more but these are the ones that are on my mind today!

I love the little things!

At a friends bowling party. I love how the lane is kid sized!

Only 345 more days to go. hehe

The rest of the story, uh weekend!

Our weekend ended just as perfectly as it began!
Yesterday we had fun at a friend's birthday bowling party! What was most fun is that it was kid sized just for their age and no funky bowling shoes! FUN FUN!

The Daddy-o and me

The peace sign!

with the birthday girl, MaKayla

See how cute the lanes were! ADORABLE!

The balls were just the right size too!

She had a blast and so did Mom & Dad! It made for a great way to end a good weekend.

We will most definitely be going back there again!

A good weekend, so far!

We still have a whole day of the weekend but already we've had such a great one.

Yesterday Girlie had her 5 year old check up at the Dr. She got a wonderful report and even received the "green sheet" that shows she's all ready for Kindergarten!! It's coming too fast!

After work we came home and Daddy had set up a Pizza PICNIC! She freaked out she was so excited! It was so much fun. As you can see Nannie didn't eat pizza. She was all healthy and had a salad at our picnic! WTG Nannie!

This morning we were pretty lazy but this afternoon we got a great deal accomplished. We headed to the lake to feed the birds. Oh man, she loves doing this. It's been a long while since we've gone and I forgot how much fun it was.

It really has been great to have nothing going on. We've been so busy and going for months now we didn't remember what it was like. WE LIKE IT! :)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Why I love Kate Crafton! 5 year pics

On Girlie's actual birthday we had a photoshoot with the AMAZING Kate Crafton. She's taken Girlie's pictures since she was 1 and I just am so grateful to her for capturing such moments and beauty. She's like the best photographer EVER! Serious! Go check her out if you haven't!

I could post all the pics that Kate took that day as my fav but these are the ones I've chosen to share here. Seriously I can't even say these are my favs of the favs because again I adored them all!

I LOVE the swimming ones though. WOW.

Is this the walk of an Olympic Champion or what? :)

Plain ole beauty!

This picture is SO her!

RED SHOES :)

Big 5... boohoo!

But I do have to say this, this pic, TOPS the board as my favorite of the entire session. I just love it.

Big girl, huh? Thanks again Kate! You're unbelievable and always capture everything perfectly!

YOU ROCK!
