BABY FEVER 120 degrees!

I'm just getting around to posting these but MAN isn't this babe adorable?

This is one of my best friend's kiddos. Mr. P is just the most adorable sweet loving baby ever! He actually just had surgery on Friday and thankfully all went well and he's home recovering!

Look at him - OMG BABY FEVER IS HIGH!

She was in love too!

Heart shaped eats!

Valentine's Day has come and gone and while mine wasn't exactly the most romantic day on the planet it wasn't the worst and I did spend it with the loves of my life. That's what it's all about, right?

Yes, my day consisted of a candlelit dinner (complete with a 4 year old and the constant chatter of "sit down", "stop that" and "you must eat").
Yes, my day consisted of candy and cards (plenty of sugar) and
Yes, my day consisted of heart shaped eats!

Breakfast was probably the highlight of my Valentine's Day. I wanted to do something cute and special and that's just what I did. Lots of hearts!

Heart shaped sausage (of course I sculpted it myself) and

Heart shaped eggs to top it off

My family loved it and so did I honestly, what a cute way to start the day that is all about the love?

Hum... what's next - oh shamrock french toast! Great idea!

I did it!

For years I've been making invitations, etc for myself, family & friends.

So, I decided that I would post an ad on craigslist (FREE) and start a website (FREE) and see what I got.

The good news is that only 10 mins after posting the ad I got an email from someone wanting something. The bad news is who knows if I'll get anymore lol

Ah, at least I'm not out anything but time and lord knows I've wasted tons of time before.

Patched!

I promised pics of Girlie in her patch!

She liked it at first but it quickly became annoying to her. Must not have been too bad as she fell asleep just 1 1/2 hours after putting it on! :)

At least it's cute and we all know she is!

EYE see you!

Today Girlie had to go to the eye doctor to get her eye checked. At her 4 year old appointment she failed the vision test in the right eye and her pediatrician said that it looked a little cloudy like a cataract. She wanted to send us to a specialist and so we went today.

Turns out it is a cataract. It's small and the dr. said something that she's likely had since birth. No surgery yet though, so that's good news. We are just going to patch her good eye (LEFT) and hope that the right one gets better. It's lazy right now because it can't see as well and we hope that patching will help gain strength back in it. Please say a prayer that patching helps and we don't have to do surgery now. The eye dr. said that it was great of our pedi to catch the cataract so well without the use of her "fancy equipment". I'm so blessed to have such a great pediatrician.

Of course while we were there I snapped some pics! My baby is way too young to go through these tests but she honestly didn't seem to mind! The staff was so great and I loved the Dr.

With her "Drew Carey" glasses. They had several pair of cute glasses, I just got a kick outta these.
