ME ME ME

A LOT ABOUT ME!


1. I’m a true Gemini. Twin personalities for sure.
2. I have a wonderful husband who I wouldn’t trade for anything.
3. I also have the most wonderful daughter ever.
4. I’m a pretty strict Mom in a lot of ways.
5. I was raised by a pretty strict Mom, so that’s probably why.
6. I have an amazing friend base.
7. I consider two of them to be my sisters, just not by blood.
8. I have a very close relationship with my Mother.
9. I still have both Grandfathers but only one Grandmother.
10. I didn’t get my driver’s license until I was 21.
11. I got my first car when I turned 21, passed the test in it.
12. I had a pet duck growing up, Beaker.
13. I had a few dogs & cats too.
14. I now have an American Bulldog, Vegas. LOVE HER!
15. I love reading.
16. I love shopping.
17. I love watching TV.
18. I love playing games with my girlie.
19. I can’t wait until we can play school or store together, immature much? lol
20. I love being outdoors, but I hate bugs, etc.
21. I don’t have any type of relationship with my Dad.
22. I lost my first close family member just three years ago in April, my grandmother.
23. I make a mean Lasagna.
24. I really love hanging out with my In-laws.
25. I went on my honeymoon to Vegas.
26. I named my dog after our honeymoon. lol
27. I married James after just dating him for one year exactly.
28. I was engaged to him after only dating him for 3 months.
29. I went to Canada in 7th grade,
30. I’ve never been out of the country otherwise.
31. I know quite a bit about computers.
32. I know things because I dated a guy that was a computer geek in college.
33. I dated a guy that has come out of the closet (NICE!)
34. I am still friends with that guy.
35. I am glad I found James instead.
36. I have really liked every job I’ve ever had.
37. I have had three jobs “fall into my lap.”
38. I work at the same company as my Mom.
39. I live with my Mom, along with my daughter, husband and dog.

94. Before Girlie, I hadn’t taken an actual bath in about 10 years, only a shower.

Happy Monday!
We had a nice weekend. I did decide to stay in and clean. I didn't get finished with organizing Girlie's room, but I did pack up 4 - 21 gallon bins with clothing size 2T - 3T (THAT'S NUTS PEOPLE). The child has so many clothes. I might be a rich woman if I'd just get it together and sale them. I could surely buy her a new wardrobe if I did!

So after a good weekend I have a great evening planned as well. At least I hope it's a great evening. I've been asked to join a Bunco group with some ladies that I think will be fantastic. I'm just subbing tonight to see if I wanna join. I'm still on the fence really. But I know after tonight I'll be certain! I'm not really one to get nervous meeting new people. I'm pretty outgoing (to say the least) and I make friends easily usually but something about being with 11 other gals that really know each other is a little intimidating to me. I hope it goes well. (Jennifer, promise me I'll fit in!)

I use to play in a Bunco group in Louisville and it was a bunch of older ladies and still fun so I am sure it will be tons of fun with gals my own age!

Here's hoping I have beginner's luck and take home all the dough!

I don't like Thursdays! Well, I'll rephrase that. I don't like Thursday DAYS. Thursday nights are my favorite TV night ever!

Let me start my rant by saying Diana (my local friend and fantastic maker of trifle) I love ya, but I hate where you live! LOL
I don't hate Fairview. I don't. Great people there. But I hate driving there from my house. It's forever to get there and forever to get back.

Why can't they move Bates (my client) closer? I can say one thing though. Since they put in the Dunkin' Donuts it's made my drive worth while :D

Just whining today! I deserve it hehe

Our latest

It's been a bit since I last updated!

Let's see. We had Girlie's 4th birthday party on the 10th. It was soooooo much fun. A luau at a hotel pool was PERFECT! She loved it, her friends loved it - it was a blast!

I slaved for HOURS on the cake, but it turned out. Girlie's one request was that it had a crab cookie :)


It was a blast and she racked up on the presents!



Also since I last updated Girlie had her first sleepover with a NON-family member. She spent the night with her friend Ava (in the swimming picture above -right side). She did so great and stayed all night long and had such a blast. She's still talking about it and is ADAMANT that the small travel sized toothpaste she has is ONLY for going to Ava's house lol



In other news James' job cut back to working only 4 days a week, so only 32 hours. :( I hate it. The economy is terrible right now and although we've applied for a few things we've heard NOTHING! :( So right now he's stuck working there with less pay. What can you do? I hate where we are as a nation right now, I sure hope it turns around.

Also, on Monday we found out that she might have something wrong with her right eye. The short story is that she failed the vision test on her right eye at her 4 year well checkup. We are seeing a specialist on 2/2. So we shall see. I was very freaked at first. That's my baby and her vision but I know God has already taken care of the issue. He's in control - always and she'll be fine. The Pedi mentioned a cataract (her eye looked a little cloudy/white to her) so we shall see. Any prayers you can offer up would be greatly appreciated!



Otherwise we're all just hanging in there. Doing the daily grind. It's FREEZING here in Nashville so we are definitely looking forward to warmer weather and swimming lessons, which we just got confirmed today! :)

I chose pink because it's my fav! It's not exactly the background I'd like to go with but that will take some work. I much prefer this for now!

Girlie was 4 yesterday! I'm not even sure where time has gone. NOT at all!

She had a great day! We took balloon cookies to school and then after school we went to Build A Bear, Rainforest Cafe and then home for cake & presents. It was a late night but she had such a great time!
